It's a question we've been asking ourselves since Alasta's early days.

Because branding doesn't stop the day we hand off the logo, the guidelines or the website. In fact, that's when the brand actually starts to exist.

For a long time, this challenge even shaped how we approached some identities: we looked for the right balance between creative depth and ease of use, so that non-expert teams could easily make it their own.

Brand guidelines, templates, Figma components… Today, alongside these assets, we can also deliver generation systems.

Tools or prompts that let our clients create new visuals in seconds, acting as a framework that guarantees a high level of quality and consistency.

Let's take Cassis the living context layer between your data and your business, as an example.

Their team trusted us to create their brand identity for their launch.

Looking at their market and speaking with the team, we identified two possible directions: very sleek, tech-driven black-and-white worlds on one side and more organic identities built from AI-generated imagery on the other.

Their accessible approach to AI naturally steered us toward the second option, especially since the name Cassis opened up a rich visual territory, from the blackcurrant fruit to the Mediterranean town.

We chose the latter, drawing inspiration from the landscapes and atmosphere of southern France to create a series of botanical and nature-inspired visuals, all treated with a graphic style unique to the brand: a kind of “colorful pointillism.”

To help the team keep this visual system alive over time, we also created a pattern generator that can transform any image, with full control over dot size and color tones.

The result is a system that’s both distinctive and scalable!
