Phenix

For the last three years, Phenix has been the anti-waste app that finds a solution for every unsold product, in more than five countries around the world. The eco-friendly app allows you to fight against food waste, save money and treat yourself in your favorite local stores! But that’s not all: they also make donations to partner organizations so that no product ends up in the trash. The icing on the cake? There is a large choice of stores (food and otherwise) available. From bakeries and cosmetic stores to florists. With the app, you save baskets from the trash and give products a second life without breaking the bank!
Fighting against waste isn’t a solo battle! The Phenix team came to us to optimize their app’s activation and conversion rates. So, we asked ourselves some key questions: how do we make sure all new users order their first basket? And once they have, how do we make sure they reorder regularly? We navigated these decisive questions in collaborative design workshops by essentially laying out the user journey to identify any potential friction or hurdles. After this first stage, we concluded that we had to work on simplifying journeys and screens as a priority in order to allow users to easily find available storekeepers, in their area, with an offer matching their search. Once they find what they’re looking for, they can proceed to checkout in just a few clicks and manage their order easily.

"We knew that we had to redesign our app, but we didn't know where to start. Alasta accompanied us with very well-constructed workshops. During this period, the whole team was struck by their level of listening and understanding of our issues! Then we discovered the wireframes and we were quickly hooked, and I must say that with the UI on top, we were fans! We recommend them wholeheartedly."
