The FIM Speedway Grand Prix is the speedway world championship, a series of motorcycle races on oval tracks with no brakes, promoted and broadcast across more than 30 countries by Eurosport (Discovery Sports Events).
We were brought in to design the very first official mobile application for the championship, from feature definition through to the delivery of high-fidelity mockups.
Our central challenge was to capture the intensity and raw universe of Speedway, a sport raced without brakes, on motorcycles launched at full speed around an oval dirt track, whose motto "No brakes, no fear, no limits" says it all. The app had to carry that energy and give fans the means to experience and relive the highlights of every race, whether they were in the stadium or watching from home.
